Yes, but when there was no income tax before 1913, what is their fair share? I think you start at zero, cut the government by 80% and let the people keep their money.. Fire a bunch of worthless government workers and go from there.

Who was in control of congress during the years that created the surplus and balanced the budget for the first time since the 1920's? THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.. @emantabrizi budget.. That is where the problem lies.. Now in regards to spending? Bush spent 4 trillion dollars in 8 years.. Unheard of and pissed us conservatives off.. Obama? 5 trillion in 3 years.. Bush 1.8 billion a day.. Obama 4.6 trillion a day.. He printed money for the stimulus (and I have a degree in economics from Washington U in St.Louis don't EVEN get me started on that) and devalued the currency on top of doing nothing which any economist will tell you the same Part 7

But mainly with congress not with him.. They spent and spent.. The wars only account for 20% of the federal mandated spending.. So regardless of your thoughts on the war, no it didn't even make a dent in what is being spent daily.. Entitlements SS, medicaid, medicare and welfare takes up nearly 65% of the part 6

@emantabrizi It is a federal mandate that requires US to pick up that tab.. By LAW!!! Now, I am small so my employees can take care of their own insurance.. The only reason companies pick up the tab is to compete for better workers.. Benefits are a good tool to do that.. But on small business, such as mine, we cannot afford that.. We are trying to become the bigger guys.. And if WE decide to pick up the health insurance tab, it is OUR choice.. Government is FORCING it down Part 3

@emantabrizi computer costs 1000 dollars.. So where is the benefit again for the company to come back to the states? And where is the benefit to the American citizen who is now paying 800 more for a computer.. For most people that is a lot.. And on Obamacare? Hey guess what? I DO own a business..
