what the hell is the matter with you? This is about A R Rahman winnning an award he deserves - this has nothing to do with hindus, muslims, or religion in anyway. His music can be appreciated by all people of all religions because when they see a human they notice more than just his religion. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about you.
Rahman's genius is in no way related to which religion he follows.

I LIVE in India and have TONS of Indian Muslim friends and NONE of them have ever been discriminated against in any way. If by telling yourself that Muslims are discriminated against in India makes you feel better about the terrorist-run shithole you live in, then go ahead.
