There are very good versions and interpretations of this song. But NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can reach RITCHIE BLACKMORE !!! Just think about the California Jam performance... unbeatable and untouchable.... Long Live RITCHIE !!!

Got the whole night this remake of Mistreated was recorded in soundboard flac lossless:) It's Live At Zepp, Fukuoka, Japan - May 9th, 2006 and it sounds almost like Live In The Shadow Of The Blues though 100 % live ONE gig:D I recommand to every 'Snake fan.

Your adventure with Mistreated looks almost like mine. I first heard the Rainbow version, but when I heard Deep Purple I was blown away. Dio sings it in kinda classical style (which is very good cause I love his voice;). But Coverdale always delivers all of his soul in this song. Well he wrote it so he sings about himself. And this version from Japan kills the version by Rainbow from On Stage. DC sings this ultra demonic here \m/ :)
