Tonemasters! The poor mans sony cassettes. Get em at walgreens 10 in a pack for $3.99 If I had a $1 for every time a tonemaster tape broke on me and I had to tape it back together...

@cmcgee69 hell yeah we used 2 listen all all the mixes on Friday nights with my taps ready cause i wasn't old enough 2 go 2 the house party's .

Man!!! This brings back tons of memories. I can remember listening to this with my brothers, cousins and all of our boys while we got geared up to go to Mendel Prep on 111th street (now Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep) on a Saturday night where the Hot Mix Five would be throwing down. Pure Nostalgia... and Lovin It!!!

Hail To The King Of House....LMAO at (mikediddy1) those tapes were cheap but when my Fav tapes started getting caught, I had to upgrade to SONY and MEMOREX...LOL! I use to perform complete surgery on my tapes, unscrewed those tiny azz screws, cut the wrinkled tape that got snagged (prayed my fav jams didn't get cut), scotch-taped it back together, repositioned the reels, replaced the little cotton piece, re-screwed it back together and I was good to go.

let me know if you look for any tapes around your house and i'll pay you top dollar as is. i have around 1120 mixes from wbmx/wgci . i can always trade also.

@area51exist ,I`m sorry replying so late,hadn`t been on youtube for ages...if i looked hard enuff i bet i could find a couple..maybe...i do miss those mixes,it was a good time in life!
