Guys, I'm sorry, but your ratings are a complete mess. This is how 5 star ratings work:

*****- Classic

****- Great

***- Good

**- O.K.

*- Poor

And judging by what you said in this review, you made it sound like a 2 & 1/2 star movie, which doesn't mean bad, it just means the film wasn't great and that it was only O.K. But when you guys give a movie 2 & 1/2 stars, you say its terrible, like when Ross gave 2 & 1/2 stars to The Day the Earth Stood Still, but he hated it, so it should've been 1.

Think of it like a test grade: 100-90= 5 89-80= 4 1/2 79-70= 4 69-60= 3 1/2 59-50= 3 49-40= 2 1/2 39-30= 2 29-20= 1 1/2 19-10= 1 9-0= 1/2 The rating we both gave Disaster Movie was no stars. We made up a new level just to emphasize how bad it was. Last time I checked, getting a 40 for a test grade isn't OK. It's failing, and brings down your final average by a lot. The way you put it, isn't how a 5 star rating system works. The way you put it means, there's only one level of dislike, 1 star.

these 2 kids most be 12 years old from the way they sound but Ross n Chris you guys should've watch the first 3 movies because T4 made a whole lots of sense to me and i thought it was very well thought out and yest it did have character development and i will tell you why, watch the 3 b4 is not to difficult...(of course i saw the first 3 movies n did not hide myself under a rock for the last 15 years) so no offense, but before you can judge something or anyone find out a bit of history B4.

And from your spelling and grammer you sound like a 10 year old. This movie seemed to try and get a new generation aimed at our age group (no we're not 12.) and if you're trying to aim to a new generation you may want to get into some back story. This isn't just aimed at a Terminator fan crowd.

Please don't say that you like "the first terminator" movies. Because you've only seen the first one, which in itself is a great movie, only over shadow by the greatest sequel in history. Don't judge movie's when you haven't seen the whole story

The action is a lot better than you guys say. You say its nothing more than explosions. No, its not. The action is really exhilarating.

I was so disappointed with this movie. The only positive thing I can say is that the SFX were good, the first ten minutes were good, and Sam Worthington's acting in the movie. This movie doesn't even try to have a connection to the first three movies. This is pretty much a stand alone movie. The ending was ridiculous. If you saw the movie you'l know what I'm talking about. I'd give it a generous 3/10!

when u put it that way, ur way is actually a bit better. but keep in mind ur reviews were never terrible, ur reviews are always thoughtful and well done, u guys always make excellent points about the films, i think the only times i've disagreed with u two was with ur reviews of watchmen and transformers 2: revenge of the cliche titles lol.

The movie was fine. I don't see why you must be so critical. Before you see this movie you should have watched the others. And I did care for the story they followed it fine.
