  • move it Silver Lake/Echo Park/Los Feliz...because thats where all the white people are at

  • Rose-tinted glasses? I believe I acknowledged the problem. Now you visit people in Ontario, Riverside, Moreno Valley and ask them how it feels to have homes once valued at 550,000 be valued now at 60,000! There is no comparison!

  • Dude take off the rose tinted glasses. When you lose 250-300K of market value, thats not holding its value. I always thought Downey was somewhat a city that would hold its value because of its rose in a toilet bowl effect. The over inflation was due to the high amount of subprime mortgages.

  • Yeah...the home values also went down because they were overinflated. But, Downey also has kept its value between 200,000 and 500,000 for most homes, as opposed to places like the Inland Empire where some homes dipped below 70,000...crazy!

  • Downey, CA got slammed. Many sub-prime borrowers bought in that city.

  • nice pen nerd !/wheres your calculator to show and tell your buyers they can't afford in North Downey........Send them to the South side/// I kid cause I love
