Absolutely the highest form of cartoon humor ever, and all but lost today. Really funny stuff that jabbed at American values in that day.

@FrankLJ I have 4 seasons of Rocky and Bullwinkle on box-set.
The scene you're asking for is from the Greenpernt Oogle.
I forget which episode it's from but it's early in the story.

That was very cute!
-
I wonder if they were also looking for Claude Cooper, the klepto clapper caper villain from Cleveland.
-
This is my favorite of all the Bullwinkle's Corners. Thanks for sharing it....was great to see it again!
-
I remember that
That would be in the second episode of the 'Greenpernt Oogle' story arc.

One of my favorite Bullwinkle sketches! "pig in a poke huh?" "No, a pig in a poem!" Pig poem?" that whole thing cracks me up!
-
They did another 'Dragnet' parody - I forget the show, but it was a regular storyline. Rocky is in Wash, D.C. and wanders into the wrong room. He gets grilled in clipped 'Dragnet' monotones and adopts them himself
'Name?'
'Rocky'.
'Occupation?'
'I'm a squirrel' etc.
Any one know which episode that was? It would look wel on YouTube with this one.

you got an a apple? lol
An absolute classic! They certainly don't make cartoons like this any more....and that's a shame. Of course, today this sort of humor would fly right over the heads of the great unwashed out there.

Bullwinkle was way before its time. A kiddie show that had adult satire. The Commies had taken over Cuba and in school we were taught to escape an atomic blast by getting under our desk. Still love the show!!
