Here's coverage from our area of the action at 515 Alive 2011 -- one of Iowa's biggest annual outdoor music festivals. 515 was held on the Grand Bridge, including the Brenton outdoor skating rink & surrounding areas in Downtown Des Moines.
This is the second year Kees Camp has been honored to take part in the all-day electronic music festival. Special shout-out to Brad Goldman, organizer, for having us along & putting together an event to help promote the local music & arts scene.
I haven't heard attendance figures from this year. Last year, I believe it was about 14,000. We had a TON of participation at the booth -- poling, hula-hooping, dancing -- it was a great time with a great crowd. Till next year!
