Psoriatic Arthritis - Cause - Diagnosis - Symptoms - Treatment, check out http://arthritis.about.com/od/pa/Psor... for more details

Psoriatic arthritis cause, diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment. Psoriatic arthritis is associated with the skin disease psoriasis and commonly affects joints of the hands and feet and the tendons where they attach to bone. Psoriatic arthritis is one of a group of rheumatic diseases known as spondyloarthropathies. Psoriatic arthritis treatment is complicated because of the various clinical manifestations and levels of severity associated with the disease. The Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis has issued the first-ever international guidelines for psoriatic arthritis treatment. As its name suggests, psoriatic arthritis is associated with psoriasis and arthritis. Initially, psoriatic arthritis can be confused with rheumatoid arthritis and gout.

  • I feel your pain. I was in the military for 22 years and in that time my body went through quite a bit. I feel it now. One thing is my right foot. I had to have special inserts for my shoes just so I could work a full day without my foot starting to hurt to the point where I couldn't take it. I hope things get better. Be safe.

  • @MrHacksawJoe I have a lot of the problems under control now Bro, i have lots of therapy and the meds are doing their job. Thanks for the comment Bro. H&R to you and yours.

  • Do you have problems with heat, i know some people suggest warm climates. Hot days make it torture for my Mum, and as you know the cold is brutal to sufferers. Reading below that you cant ride anymore must have been tough, with it being such a part of you and your life. Hope you have a comfortable day, i know it's never pain free. Thanks for posting.

  • @punkit743 A warmer climate is better for those with the Arthritis side of it, cold is murder. On the other hand heat can set off the psoriasis but as i only have a small patch heat isnt to much of an issue, the prob i have is ive become light sensitive due to one of the drugs i have to take so on sunny or bright days i have to wear the shades, i also sunburn easy. H&R Bro
