Katia e Maurice Kraft estão entre os vulcanólogos mais célebres do mundo. Realizaram diversas missões em vulcões da Itália, da Islândia, da Indonésia e da África. Os dois desapareceram durante a explosão do vulcão Unzen, no Japão, em 3 de junho de 1991.

We watched these video's at school when I was eight years.

I was impressed then.

Now I got curious who the volcanists where after the eruptions of the vulcano in Iceland and the consequences of it on our airtraffic.

this is funny... i used to love this video when I was like 8... i wanted to be a vulcanologist so bad, i even dressed up as one for halloween... i had the whole silver suit complete with paper mache helmet and an orange chunk of "lava" in my hand... it was epic.
