Why does it make so much noise when the feet touch the floor? Do you have a model with contact sensors in the feet?

how did you go about programming this? it looks very complicated. are they just preprogrammed motions, or does it calculate how to move each leg? very cool!

I was using hard rubber caps for feet when this was filmed. This bot is not using foot sensors as yet. It is in the works ;the robot is getting an overhaul due to worn out servos and newer components available now.

Robotics tech has come a very long way since 8 years ago. With better servo's and IC's that take less power. we will have some interesting robots when 3D IC start coming out.
