Streaking westbound on Track 1 "Montauk", is Babylon Branch Express train # 7155 from Freeport to New York Penn Station with a full 10-car consist of M-7s, #7689 on the west end, #7158 on the east end. Seen from Rosedale Station in Rosedale, Queens, NY (Atlantic Branch). Rosedale Station is situated between Track 2 "Atlantic" and Track 1 "Atlantic", the side where 7155 traversed is Track 1 "Montauk" and adjacent is Track 2 "Montauk".

  • Wow, your trains really are slow.

  • The Diesels run the Montauk Branch, and typically take the mainline to the split at Bethpage. That is Babylon Brach Train.

  • This looks like Roseadale, just before the split......That train was going through St. Albans....years ago there used to be a stop called Springfield Gardens

  • how do you know its a hot rail?

  • Is this 750v dc? And how far between the subatations (1.5 to 5 miles (alumimium conductor rails)) in UK.
