Leon Antoine replaced Deek and this group had a successful recording career with King Records. Antoine and Essex or Essix (spelled both ways) seemed to alternate recordings and the King labels listed the group members on the label. The first record lists no members but the 2nd thru 4th list Antoine. The next two list Scott and the Antoine returns. They released 9 singles in all and all are quite good. 'Melody Of Love' is recorded twice, once with a saxophone break and once without. (more) (less)

  • These wonderful men lived in those gentler times that I remember so well. If the world lived in the same close harmony that they shared, we'd all live in peace.

  • @hai31 its kind of like a signature thing, just how rappers now a days say their name before the song starts, this is how you could tell it was an Ink Spots song :p

  • One of my favorites. I wish "am I too late" was on the tube though. I just might ave to upload it
