The Hylden are a high tech civilization with all the machinary, wires, gizmos, hover transport, even glyph magik. Not even the Vampire citadels have the superior splendour of the Hylden architecture; all they have is a mixture of Arabic Gothic with influences from Romanesque too. But they something the Hylden do not: interdimensional portals for easy traveling and beautiful mural artistry seen in "Defiance".
