A new form of malware is spreading across the internet advising internet users to update Windows. The malware is telling Windows users they need to install a patch to fix a hole in Windows. The problem is that they are charging $20 for the patch when it is free.

  • I have a question, that same page showed up on my computer saying i have viruses and it "scans" my computer and the popup showed up, what if i were to save the file? Can I put it in the recycle bin, delete it, and it will be gone just like that?

  • @Arlock64 Yes just delete the file. Opening the file is how computers get infected.
