I really loved the Shadows band since I was 14 years old ( 1961 ) up to now, for me the Ventures is the second after The Shadows.

@paulkate72 Hey youtube up tommy emanuel an australian guitar player, he cant read music its all played by ear, listen too a few of his clips. Bye the way , child of the 50/60's grew up with the "shads"

How'd you like to play guitar like Hank Marvin? I've never heard better and that includes all the more modern-day boys: Clapton, Hendrix, Jimkmy Page, Jeff Beck, even Mark Knofler.
