A Rain Garden for Springside School

The Springside Water Wall and Garden was designed by environmental sculptor, environmental activist, educator, artist, and now Springside partner, Stacy Levy. Three agencies in Philadelphia were deeply connected to the Springside Water Wall:

RecycleBank and its Green Schools program believed in the efficacy of the project and supported many of the associated costs;

The Pennsylvania Horticulture Society helped select the native plants that can survive in both drought and flood states and confer beauty in this setting;

The Philadelphia Water Department whose planning help with engineering systems related to the Water Wall.
