I love those descending wheels very cool. Like you say the price point is a bit high, you would think at least a Sand Person would be included. Awesome review, I didn't know so many versions came out with the vehicles. :)

I love the original landspeeder. I'm going to ask for the new one for Christmas

You can find scans online from the JC Penney and Sears Wishbooks of the early '80s. Its kinda cool to see the Star Wars pages again, if u grew up then.

@micahc6v8 POTF2 has the foot pegs to keep the droids in place I have that one, it was my first SW toy from when I was a kid its missing the windshield though...

@micahc6v8 there are foot pegs on the very back of the 78 Landspeeder, but on the sonic Landspeeder from J.C. Penney, there are both pegs on the backseat and on top of the back area for the droids. Perhaps on your 78 Landspeeder, the pegs are broken off the backseat.

Awesome review man! I always love how you compare your figures and sets and thanks for the shout out! I really appreciate it...

Awesome review! I dont care much for accuracy and details but i some times i do care about bad paint jobs. I always like the comparisons you do. It makes me want to buy all the stuff you show lol great job!

Nice!! I seen this one and passed--just waiting for them to mark it down--haha--I am still using my vintage one for display.

I can't wait to see your new style of reviewing keep up the good work .
Aren't there foot pegs on the backseat of the original, to keep the droids in place? I have the 2002 version, really like it.

@scrambuild No, not on the 78 landspeeder, but for some reason that sparks a memory with me. I'm sure at least one type of vehicle has something like that, but I can't remember what it was. Dang, now it's going to bother me all week. Thanks a lot!

@boojwahz Thanks, I know some people like the childhood memories, but looking back at my old videos I sometimes went overboard telling stories and I ignored the figures. I'll post a new style review tomorrow. I'm re-doing hammerhead, and I almost included your joke about him wearing a "onesie"- which was the best comment I've ever seen. Thanks man!

I have the sonic controlled J.C. Penney exclusive landspeeder as a part of my vintage collection. "NORMAL stores..." LOL!

@bluesnagg yeah, I think i said Sears, but I meant JC Penny. It's funny because neither one is well known for selling toys nowadays, but apparently that was the place to be back in the 70's and 80's. I was curious about the sonic landspeeder, does it do the same thing as the sandcrawler, driving backwards in a circle?
