Real life scanning I can see is possible now with project NATAL from Microsoft, Plus I don't think incorporating an A.I. to a drawing isn't as far away as you think. the minority Report computer already exists i think translation would also be better. Oh and using Electronic paper would save on garbage, because you could stream News to the paper every day without buying a new piece of paper.

in the future they should just make cheap nanobots for babys that give them up-to-date versions on all the knowledge a modern education (elementary,high,medical...eve rything) of anything they'd get.$99 dollars for brainiac nanobots!

why are you all taking this so seriously.
Microsoft isn't saying that we'll have this stuff in the future, we probably wont, but it's more of an artistic concept.

By 2019:
Virtual dog = ridiculous.
Good translation = ridiculos.
Tablet with lady in the airplane = for sure.
Boarding Pass with the lady = probable.
Computer in the window = probable.
Minority Report computer = not yet.
Microsoft surface operations = possible.
Augmented reality in airport = ridiculous.
Smooth operation between computers = improbable.
Electronic newspaper = bad idea, there will be better ways to read the news.
Real life scanning with computer = ridiculous.
