Angola's economy is booming as the country exports nearly all of its oil reserves to countries like China.

Al Jazeera's Stefanie Dekker reports from Luanda, the Angolan capital, on how the state has become Africa's biggest oil producer.

New homes my ass - they arent building new homes for the "people". I have seen Angola - these buildings are to accommodate those associated with the oil industry NOT for the Angolan populace. Angolans live under a dictatorship - those workers have probably never met an everyday Angolan. That is one shitty ill-informed piece of crap journalism.

@luisafonso100 Actually, the Chinese who are supposed to be in jail ARE in jail. Since my comment of four months ago, China has done exactly like I thought they should do. Their entire infrastructure and mineral recovery workforce are now 100% Chinese. They are only building enough infrastructure to remove the oil and other valuables because they are a realistic people who understand that niggers will just destroy all of it after they move on to their next colony.

They send the ones who are a pain in the ass of the government (in case of china, many who were supposed to be in jail...)

Those huge infrastructure projects can not be easily learned by any beginners, as no company and people have experience in that in Angola. It is true that Chinese has a strong demand in oil so that's why they help out. But, at least, they create jobs there, then those nicely built highways, buildings will be used by ALL Angolans in the near future. Chinese did not steal anything away from Angola, it is a business deal.

Chinese government loaned billions of money to Angola (at a much lower interests rate than western people). On top of that, chinese companies were doing all the infrastructure for Angola in a much FASTER rate than any other race in the world. Their workforce will hire Angolans and in that way create jobs for Angolans.
