Chinese painting improvised by Prof. Gao with inscription in Chinese calligraphy semi-cursive style "drunken shrimps 醉蝦." The guest painter, Dr. Gao, is a Chinese brush and oil painter and a retired professor in biology. Recorded on August 1, 2009 during a Chinese music concert at the Elite Performing Arts Center, Plano, Texas.

Thank you for this delightful video. It is well done the way the setting is introduced at the beginning, and the participation of others at the end creates a natural involvement with other people and a sense of humor as well. The painting is wonderful. Very instructive the way the professor adapted to the brushes available. The calligraphy syle was perfect for the painting. It was all very personal as in the way the professor applauded the calligraphy. A lot of good will and graceous living.
