Jeff Jarrett wrestles Dutch Mantell as Walter Mays conducts his percussion orchestra in "War Games." Totally bizarre and awesome.

  • I remember watching this on PBS when it was first produced. There's just something wrong with passing wrestling off as Arts or Expression. But I would like to see them perform during a New Jack match!!

  • @Estolcles

No That's my dad, USWA ref Paul Neighbours

  • Dutch writes about this in his book The World According to Dutch. He also kind of provides a link to these videos on Rolos channels through proxy I suppose by mentioning looking it upon youtube. And, he also seems to accept this his bit of performance art now. Which honestly it is. Good solid match with the beauty coming out due to everything involved. Thanks for posting this. Get Dutch's books.

  • you can see Jeff say a few words to Dutch in teh head lock. The fans cant see it but wrestlers can whole conversations in teh ring and no one knows.

  • I remember taking a tape of this to music appreciation class in Jr. High. The band director who taught it was enthralled by it, it also made him into a wrestling fan.

He never understood my love of the sport and chastised me for missing a concert (I played trumpet) to go to a house show. He asked me why I liked it so much and I told him why.

After he saw this match it clicked for him and he came to me and said, "You were right, Chris. It's like watching a beautiful violent ballet".

  • Is that Gypsy Joe reffing?

  • Screw everyone else--this is a legitimately good match even with all the surrounding goofiness.

  • horrible!

  • Ok,you guys remember beauty and the beast From USWA days?Well beast was the DRUMMER in this orchestra,he came up with this idea and we were like...."uh..ok,we'll try it...well it wasnt what we thought it would be...

  • This is the coolest thing ever:) Give him the ohl Shocker
