@mybourbon Having said that,Ben Granfelt is really good and I liked him in the band....They also had a dude with really long hair,who was also really good,I forget his name at the moment...I would be interested to know,from Andy,why he kept changing guitarists.I am happy that this current version of the band has been together for awhile and are getting better all the time.I saw them in ny in march- they were superb....muddy has his share of the spotlight.

@mybourbon Again i am not arguing with you because I don't know,but....watching wishbone from the very beginning ,Andy has always shared the spotlight.ted Turner did just as many solo's as andy and Laurie winfield has his own spot light in the band,Roger filgates influence was obvious and maybe why That didn't work,but At least on stage,you do not detect an huge ego on andy....and his abilities are recognized by his pears as outstanding...i doubt he has anything to prove...

My belief why Ben left after one album, was that he was asked to leave. Nevermind everything else you hear, but Andy is a control freak, and since Ben was outplaying Andy, Andy decided to make a change. I saw Ben a few times with the band, and he was outplaying Andy in so many ways, and I am sure Andy felt threatened by this, taking his spotlight away.

I just posted a concert with FHL a couple of weeks ago featuring Muddy. But Ben was the best. The best WA has ever seen. Probably why Ben only lasted one album.

I agree..rediscovered them after about 30 years and I have to say I enjoy some of the new material as much as the old.
