  • Was that just an incredibly stable night? I just got a DMK camera, hopefully I'll get a chance under an atmosphere like that.

  • Uncommonly stable, indeed. Very good seeing and very good (and large) optics joined to a standard 740K webcam: in those conditions it worked as well as more priced webcams. Unfortunately, Wes didn't put on the web his own Jupiter's capture. But we thanks him for this incredible view.

  • wow great veiw! The cassani division was easily visible as well as the other features!

  • we can only see a b and c ring the others where discovered by space probes

  • Amazing seeing! I've personally never seen nothing similar during my 5 years of planetary imaging. :( Here in northern Italy the seeing is often poor, sometimes good but never excellent.
