I made this video more recently than my other ocean video. This one is the result of Cog's New Ocean Tutorial (www.cogfilms.com). It looks much better than the last one, and similarly, it is merely a plane with several textures mapped to it.

  • how did u do to "blur" the sun ?

    mine is just to separated from the sky... :S

  • @boludopro The sun is just a point light put out near the fake horizon.

  • You can download the Savetheocean version of blender with the ocean modifier now. It gives great results.

    There's two great approaches for BGE too GLSL and texture face, only 2.49b though
