Autism awareness: Stop the bullying. Cure the bullys.

Bullying of Autistics causes emotional trauma and PTSD. When the victim isn't taken seriously, this persists and leads to suicide. Autistics have to be treated with the same rights as any other bully victim. when they start to have emotional trauma from bullying, the bullying has to stop. When their stress from being bullied is interpreted as symptoms of Autism, and they are treated for Autism, this becomes more and more bullying.

Hi.

I've been bullied for 11 years now.

I still wake up from nightmares, am afraid for teenagers, don't trust anyone and I have a very low self asteem.

I don't trust anyone anymore. People who said they where my friends only used me to do their homework and make fun about me.

Now I know that I am autistic. I've gotten so deprest, I had to stay at a mental hostpital. I am 18 years old now, and sometimes I still behave like a 12 year old.

Whenever I reported being bullied, no one took me seriously and I was always told I needed to "stop taking things personaly" or that it was my fault it happened.

The bullying I received in school was so bad, I probabaly have PTSD. I can't watch TV shows or look at comic books that take place in a school setting without having horrible flashbacks. I had nightmares for WEEKS after looking at a simple Sonic the hedgehog comic, becuase it took place in a school setting.
