  • so how much did ride the spot help you? i mean what could you do before you went? im thinking about going in a couple summers.

  • In 3 days (8 hours on the water more or less), I learned a Raley, Whirlybird, Hs roll to revert, Ts roll to revert, ts 540, hs 540. You'll get as much out of it as you're willing to put in. I took advantage of my few days, worked hard, learned 6 new tricks.

  • just curious.. did you find handle pass tricks much harder than just big air tricks like a raley?

  • There's more muscles involved and more things to keep track of in a handle pass trick. Once you're doing more than a 360, I would say a handle pass is more difficult than a Raley or any of the other base inverts (Tantrum, HS/TS backroll, TS Frontroll, Frontflip)

  • So, to ask the steriotypical question...what's the song? I really like it and have had it in my head the past couple days and would love to listen to it while I board.

  • Song: Clear Color

    Artist: Limp

  • @player836 Yeah same here. Tantrum first, then scarecrow. And still have yet to land a 360. 180s are fine though, i dont know. 3s feel alot harder and hurt alot more.

  • @7kids4phyllis Yeah. This was the day before I went to the MTC.

  • Are you mormon? I'm mormon and about to go on a mission also

  • @killuinstyle no, that was definitely a front flip. tantrum is your board flipping side over side. front flip is tail over nose rotation.

  • @player836 same with me. i went to lake shasta last week and i finally started landing my 3's after a year haha, but i had my tantrums and backrolls last summer and i started to learn hoochies in mid summer

  • honestly i find spins the hardest things..i was doing back rolls and tantrums before i got my 360...the 180s are easy but it took me sooo long to get my 360 down

  • whats with the carving at the beggining thats some florida stuff or somethin?

  • that heel front flip was definitely a frantrum and not a front flip. hah

  • woot goofy riderrr
