Installing Cyanogen 7 Optimus V Tutorial

***READ FIRST***MY VOICE TOO LOW EARPHONES MIGHT HELP...DONT NEED VOLUME THOUGH**** This is a tutorial for those who can or cant understand the instructions on the site and want to see a video of installing zefie's cm7. Please go to website FIRST. My first tutorial ever.
I have xionia kernel by the way.

You have to get the files from the site (You have to register and please thank the creator/poster)

How to Install (Tested with GNM Recovery and Xionia CWMA):
1) MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP (I'm not responsible if something happens and you have no backup)
2) Flash Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip
3) Wipe Data/Cache
4) Then flash the current NIGHTLY
5) Then flash Google Apps (skip Google Account setup and launch Market later to finish setup)
6) Reboot

If you mess up something thats on you. i can not tell you what you did wrong bcuz i dont know.... i just made a visual of the instructions... good luck

Everyone trying to install this ROM... It's dead. It has been dead for upwards of 8 months. For a newer CM7 (Android 2.3.7!), go here: github.com/inferiorhumanorgans­/android_device_lge_thunderc/w­iki and scroll down to ROMs for the Optimus V. Flash one of those instead of this. Can't choose? Scroll down a bit more to see the differences between each ROM. They are all great!

I used BacksideIHO's CM7 mod on my Optimus V after rooting it. Ever since that day, I haven't looked back to stock since. The rewards definitely outweigh the risks. I'd still do some research on the topic to play it safe. XDA Developer's and Androidforums websites are good places to start.
