MIT DARPA Urban Challenge Qualification - Area A, Attempt 1

Area A tested Talos' ability to merge into moving traffic. Talos ("the world's most expensive, sophisticated Land Rover in existence," as the DARPA announcer calls it) was a bit too hesitant about merging, requiring the team to make some changes to pass the event.

Team MIT is a collaborative effort between MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Department of Mechanical Engineering, along with students and faculty from Olin College and members of the Draper Laboratory.
