You can only hope to get back and MORE!!!! My family and I who are from chalmette got only $4,800 for the 4 of us! We lived on laplace st. and rented and lost 2 vehicles and my dads $20,000 harley plus all other belongings!!! We got nothing to help us get back on our feet! I love chalmette, its my whole life and i'm still trying to fix the house we bought several yrs back!!! Chalmette is coming back strong and my heart will always be in da parish
