Teacher's Trip: a Teacher Holiday in Xinjiang, China

Extract from a work in progress digital feature - Pangu in Xinjiang - about an Australian English Teacher (TESOL) in Xinjiang province, China. Told entirely through his first-person camera as he adjusts to life and teaching in the remote province.

This sequence covers a teacher's holiday excursion into the Tianshan mountainous area: our protagonist, Pangu, accompanies the other foreign teachers and several Chinese teachers on a holiday trip, finding himself in the middle of a karaoke dinner and what may be a stranded tourist bus.

Filmed on location in Xinjiang mid-September 2011.
