003 Wii fixed

This video is showing a 003 bricked (4.3u) Wii getting fixed. What is so special about this one is the fact that none of the IOS or disc partitions involved are fakesigned and it doesnt use a save-based exploit. That means that this method does not rely on pre-patched IOS and it doesn't need any save exploit already existing on the Wii NAND. I have tested this out on 4.2 & 4.3 U/P/J and as of now, it works in fixing all 003 bricks (unless there is something else the matter with the wii)

What is all the stuff on the screen?! Well the top left is a terminal, the right is a webcam pointed at my Wii and TV, and the lower left is my external HDD.

The first commands run in the terminal are...
wit DUMP [somegame] --psel=DATA --show=intro | egrep "System version|signed"
I did this to show you which IOS are being used by the games and that the games still carry the signature they got from Nintendo.

at 00:26 that is the Wii starting up to show that error that (until now) would have been unfixable.

at 00:46 i disconnect the drive from the PC and connect it to the WODE.

1:04 - 1:27 is the Wii starting up into recovery mode and WODE loading the list of games on my HDD

the command typed into the terminal at 2:28 is...
cat $WIILOAD
where $WIILOAD is the usb gecko. it is just to display text sent over from the Wii.

the program started at 3:51 is a modified version of AnyTitleDeleter. I used it to show you the state of the Wii FS. The only IOS that is fakesigned is 254 ( bootmii ). The system menu, IOS36, and IOS80 are bone-stock.

at 5:03, a program is started that actually makes a change to the Wii to fix the 003 Error. Then it boots the system menu

haha i just noticed you used a PS2 controller (for savemii) and you added that in to ATD; Ps X and Ps [ ]

@wiisixtyfour yes, if you open up a ps2 controller, there is a little plastic '+' behind the D-pad. you can simply dump out this plastic part and reassemble the controller. it functions perfectly normally, except now it allows you to press all 4 directions at once. it made much more sense than ruining a controller, or to keep taking one apart and putting at back together

Wow!! Interesting method.. Just a question: what does the "patched iso" have? Did you replace the "main partition" with the 3rd one? (VC, Retro Games, etc., as far i know). Then you simply change the disc with the original one, right? I would like to make a guide to apply your method for different bricks, but i need to know exactly what to do. Thanks for this! Obviously if I made a guide you will be in the credits.

the first game mounted is a iso i made using the starfox 64 trial from SSBB. it doesnt have to be that game, but you need a one that will autoboot and allow you to swap the disc somewhere. starfox fits both of those requirements and is only like 34MB for the full signed partition.

@giantpune Dude, I bought a Wii 3 years ago and bricked it by updating, its a modded wii which is able to play duplicate games I mean burned CDs ....Please tell me the easiest way to fix it! I really need help...plz reply soon, it would be much appreciated :(
