i just itunes restored my iphone and need it to get out of recovery mode. but i dont know what firmware it has....

what if i have an iphone 3g on 4.2.1 can i use this just to activate it but not for jailbraking?

@justxboredx3 no i tried it and nuthin happen it just goes bak to the screen activation screen and i tried to downgarde and it lik says error 1015 and i tried to bypass tthat error but it still had an error i hav itunes 10 but ipaid this guy at a store to do it for $40 cuz i needed it bad and i did alot of research but still nuthin worked i tried about lik 20 different ways!

@SameCrazyAngel umm yeah i had mine updated to 4.0, it was a long time ago...i never updated my iphone after that incident. just search on youtube "how to jailbreak 4.1 iphone and click on the 3rd result. i think it works, im not sure because my jailbreak was 4.0

@justxboredx3 yea i did that it just puts me back at the activation nd emergency calls only can u look it up and send me the file you used i tried so many times to activate it without the sim but i never could figure it out. plz help!
