  • @MrRf81

Those were the days! Who is this?

  • I'm about to do a similar setup so i'm also a little bit curious about the total cost.

Is there anything that you should do different today with your system?

  • @Partyproffsen

    pm sent

  • I wish u could do this with an iPad.

  • @ayambami

you can. in fact its probably better to use ipads then crestron panels - a heck of a lot less. i use my iphone for control

  • I am a fan of home automation but the User Interfaces from Creston look like a website from the 90s. :(

  • its exactly the same in my house.. but from top ive got an element set below the Italian marble so i can basically change the temperature of the restroom if needed...im from new delhi, india and will try my best to make a video and upload it here asap...

  • @ayambami You can, download the "crestron" app from the app store.

  • so you can turn off the TV at home from anywhere in the world trough your laptop? I bet the kids (if there are any ;)) hates it :p

  • @SINISTERxONER Yeah I totally agree with you! Way to expensive.

  • Yeah iPads would be a cheaper way to do this, but you know & I know that companies that install these home automation services want to keep the expensive crestron panels, so they can drive up the price even more & then add a little something something more for themselves by then the home owner has a empty pocket. The iPad does stuff just like this, but it is scattered in different apps which sucks . I am working on joining everything into one app for Home Automation & Home Theaters. Great Home!
