Goonies waiting for Chunk's Autograph

Just some crappy cellcam pics and video taken from inside a sweltering hot restaurant in Astoria in June 2005 for the 20th Anniversary event.

My buddy and I waited for over two hours and were next to the end of the line. If I remember correctly, the guy dressed as Brand Walsh (first shot in video) had a killer replica of Mikey's BMX bike in the movie that he painstakingly created out of authentic parts.

During the wait, I got a surprise when Sean Astin jumped up on the table right next to me. I didn't recognize him at first and thought it was some dude just cutting to the front. You can (maybe) see him in the third and fourth shots. Unfortunately, Sean couldn't stay for the autograph signing.

At the end is Jeff Cohen (Chunk) signing autographs. Jeff was really cool about staying until everyone got to meet him even though he was running late.

Also got a autograph from Curtis Hanson who played the evil land developer Mr. Perkins!

Thanks for putting on the event, and you have the best videos, for sure.

I was just in Astoria the other weekend on a motorbike trip. It was a great ride... we took OR-202 instead of HWY 30. Takes longer, but better scenery.

I just realized that I should have put my T-shirt from the event in the shot with the DVD at the end of the video. Oh well.

By the way, I'm Admiral Kelvinator on the forum.

No need to thank me, but I hope you will come back in 2010 and maybe then we can meet, woohoo!!!! A bunch of us are coming over in late October to hang out in Cannon Beach, should be awesome!
