The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

If Ledger hadn't have died, when Bane let all the criminals out imagine if the Joker was let out too, but we only catch a glimpse of him when it happens and don't see him until the end of the film. When Bane is about to shoot Batman in the face, imagine if the Joker suddenly appeared and stabbed Bane, saving Batman because he's 'just too much fun' If only Ledger hadnt died, nobody else could have pulled it off like he did

To be honest I can't imagine Ledger in another Dark Knight movie, it's so unfitting. People would have complained that he wasn't better than before or that its the same thing all over again. I really am happy Nolan decided to go with Bane. Tom Hardy did a wonderful job playing Bane, I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
