Benchmarking Dead Space with Fraps on my Asus G60Vx notebook.

Screen Resolution: 1360x768
Settings: High

~40 - 50 FPS without Fraps
25 FPS with Fraps (had to set settings to Medium for capturing, so this video shows it on Medium)

The Asus G60Vx is equiped with the GeForce GTX 260M, 1GB of dedicated graphics.

* Coming next: Mass Effect 2 with maxed out graphics settings!

  • on newegg the t9600 is $340. and ssd drive....well it depends on the size of ssd hard drive. total for the cpu and a 80gig ssd will be around $500.watch some vids on pcs that have ssd they load programs and games much faster.

  • @IMPULSExSNHx Thanks, I'll check it out! Let me know if you get yours done and how it turns out! :D

  • nice vid i have the same rig...i was thinking of upgradeing my cpu to a core 2 duo t9600 (2.8ghz). if you end up changing yours let me know..i also am thinking of gettin a ssd hard drive.

  • @IMPULSExSNHx How much would it cost to upgrade? So far, the only thing I would upgrade as well is the CPU... t9600 would be nice! =D

  • is your (this) asus laptop still working?

  • i recomend anyone who gets this laptop overclocks the cpu, 2.13ghz is not enough for the very latest, i have this laptop and i used setfsb and i was able to overclock the cpu to 2.66ghz with stable temperature it makes a huge difference to gaming good vid mate!

  • @UhateMacsToo 3GB of detected video memory is due to RAM allocation (since the GTX 260's memory is "only" 1GB. My clocking is @ 500/799/1250.

  • @tigmc51 my m15x shipped with 3gb of detected video memory , its clocked at 550/950 (1900mhzz data rate) /1375

those were my stock clocks wbu?

  • @UhateMacsToo Search for notebookcheck @ Google, and check for GTX 260 there. There's something wrong with your numbers. You can also check for nVidia's 3DMark06 test results on Futuremark's website. My results are right on the spot! ^^

  • lol im sorry but im getting 14k in 3d mark 06.

    not 05 i dont even have 05
