just found an undulate trigger off shore key west when i was diving. ive had these fish before and i recomend you feed it squid or raw shrimp from the markets. mice seems a little extreme.

@AfricanCichlidFan We know its carnivorous, however, trigger fish do not eat mice in the wild. They say that feeding dead mice to snakes upsets their stomach, even leading to death, even though it is their normal diet.

This is in no way cruelty to a dead mouse. They sell them in the store DEAD! You people are stupid because you're freaking out about a fish eating a dead mouse. If the fish shouldn't eat something it's more than likely not going to eat it. Predatory fish such as this clown trigger don't eat petty things like mysis shrimp...they are considered predatory and aggressive for a reason. And honestly I would spend $2 on a mouse to feed my $70 fish rather than him kill another fish that cost that much
