High Peaks CVS, The Small Group Project

The Small Group Project was originally set up as a rural pilot to support and bring together the many small informal and often unsustainable groups scattered through the villages and towns. Also to help people experiencing problems come together to combat isolation caused by having little opportunity for contact with others similarly affected. The project covers roughly an area 35 miles x 15 miles in the mainly rural northern Peak District

This film was submitted as an entry to the The Tackling Poverty Awards, for projects supporting working age people in poverty. Community Links and Church Action on Poverty organised the awards as part of The European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion 2010.
