In this video, Peter Reitzes, a person who stutters and a speech pathologist, talks about speech tools he uses to manage his own stuttering. This video is not meant as therapy, but is simply a description and demonstrations of some speaking strategies that Peter uses in his own speech.

  • yeah i do that and i also use body movements and thats helps out a lot.

  • Indeed a good demo video, an answer for all those PWS looking for "techniques" for practice

  • Peter- great video; concise and clear information for self help..

  • Thank you so much! I am a school SLP and I needed a good example of a person who stutters using strategies - it's just not the same when I try to model. Your info also fit perfectly into the strats I was teaching and was very reinforcing.

  • Great video Peter

  • thanks for that video peter....Hope to see some more like these.

  • As a person who stutters, you sound pretty gosh darn fluent pete..!!

    What's the deal?

  • Hi Peter! Can you please make some more of these videos??

  • Great video! I was hooked to the monitor the whole time. I'm currently a covert stutterer, but I'm working on bringing it out into the open.

  • Good stuff!!!!
