Actually, now that I think about it, Mussina is somewhat more deserving. Less injuries.

He retired after a 20-wins season, the only good fact of the 2008 yankees season. He's my favorite pitcher.

yeah but (i am a huge yankee fan) you cant give a player MVP if his team doesnt make the playoffs

moose was my favorite pitcher on the bombers. he seemed lke such a good guy and he was a great pitcher. i sure hope hes in HOF

Mussina should've actually been a huge candidate for MVP. Everyone thinks MVP is based on stats. Its most valuable player, and I think Mike Mussina to the Yankees this year is just about as valuable as it gets.
