Why is this spread over like ten different videos? UGH.

I own an 86 Mustang Lx 3.8 V6. I keep having to replace the solenoid and it's getting irritating. What it does is since it got cold outside, its when I turn the key to start it the solenoid gets stuck and keeps trying to start the car (until I yank the battery cable or hit the solenoid with the back of a screw driver). I've replaced the ignition, starter, and the control module on the steering wheel column. Not sure what's left, but wiring. Any suggestions???

Are you working on a model T Ford? The solenoid is attached to the starter.

Man needs to brush up on his electrical circuit terms, it tests the continuity of the circuit i.e if there are any short-circuits

I am getting low voltage to my solenoid from this wire. No more than 8 volts. It will not even make the solenoid work to start my car. I am guessing my voltage regulator is bad.
