The University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band performing their signature show, "Circle Drill" at the South Carolina game in Neyland Stadium.

PS Sorry for the shaky camera. It's kinda hard to get a tripod into the stadium...

  • my mom used to be on their flagline they change up there show like every weeek

  • beavergrad16 - the circle drill is great...but check out texas A&M's military style marching band's "Four Corners Cross Intersection"...computer simulations says it's "impossible" due to limitations of space at the center when all four blocks merge...I think you'll agree that it is truely incredible.

  • The Pride of the Southland performs a new show for every home game plus a pregame show that is played for every home game. Because there are new shows every week, there are usually only 3 full-scale shows, 3 shows with guests, and a holiday show. Of the full-scale shows, the Circle Drill is performed once at home every year and then is the away show for the second half of the season.

  • Just gonna clarify some things for people who judge the Tennessee band while they know nothing about them. This is one of 7 halftime shows they march each season. It is a signature show, so yes it is the same year to year. It is also they're most popular show, so there are more videos of it on youtube than any of their other shows. This is not even close to "the only thing they do."

  • Ok. What would you consider as the most difficult drill by a college band? You can't say the "Script Ohio" is the hardest, because all they do is follow one person around. And the drill that the UT band is similar, minus Circle Drill, because it is all based on 8 to 5 step size. But, it is never the same drill twice.

  • by the way...this is not the most difficult drill preformed by a marching band....plus after looking at other videos of UT's band it appears as though the march the same drill with different music.
