Asus Eee PC 1015PX-PU17 Initial Review

This is my very first review of an Asus Eee PC 1015PX-PU17. Here I discuss the basics of this netbook, take a quick tour through the startup process, discuss some of the software that are on the machine, and take a look at the system info. If you have any questions please post below and I will try to be as proactive as possible. Since this is my first review, please provide comments/suggestions on how I can improve the process. did you tried ubuntu already?

@odylle22 yes i did try ubuntu. Sorry i have not had an opportunity to post the update. i like ubuntu on here i think the design and overall feel for ubuntu is very nice for netbooks. however, the battery life is about 1.5 hrs less with ubuntu 11.10 than it is with windows 7 starter. i believe ubuntu will be addressing this with their next release. I'll do a video after i get past this flu (hopefully by next week!) showing ubuntu and the installation process (which is really easy).

@SoumakDutta thanx for the reply..I just wanted to know if you uninstalled the windows7 or did a dualboot... anyways get well soon..

@odylle22 i did a dual boot with windows 7 starter and ubuntu. i first split up the hard drive into another partition and allocated 100 GB for ubuntu. I'll show this in the video. I then installed ubuntu via wiub installer into this new partition.
