FL Emaciated, Abused Pit Bull from Drug Raid

This poor fellow is one of 47 pit bulls confiscated during drug raids near Pensacola, FL on April 16, 2008. The *owners* have given up custody to Escambia Co. Animal Shelter and he can only be released to a rescue group. He's about 4 years old and only has 2 teeth, poor vision, swollen joints, mange?, but he's a survivor and could really use a real home. He's probably lived his whole life on a chain with no TLC.

It's astonishing how healthy and strong the dog is when in such an emaciated condition. This is one amazing animal. Most creatures would be lying on the ground, unable to move at all.

here's an idea! feed the dog. get it to regular weight. Take dog to these assholes. the feed them to it.!
