  • is it playing by itself or somebody controlled it?

    Anyway it's cool! XD

  • @Katsuk2Je It's controlled by programs running on PCs. Human pilots can do amazing things with real and RC planes/helicopters, but I don't think a human pilot could pull this off for more than one or two bounces. The racquet has quite a narrow 'sweet spot' that the ball has to hit, and the racquet has to moving with the right speed with the right angle at the right time. Probably way too many things for a human pilot to try to keep track of.

  • Scale that thing up and put a GPS unit on it. Then create a fleet of them and use them as fast food delivery vehicles. It would be cool to open my door to a flying pizza delivery robot.

  • ATTEMPTING!!! IT"S DOING IT!!!

  • Just like me when I was 7 years old.

    :)

  • a machine that plays with its self?

least the Japanese priority's are strait...

they are working on machines that play with you!

  • @frankcoffee

I know you're kidding, but as awesome as that would be, someone would just steal it. The GPS wouldn't be foolproof in locating where it was stolen to. Chances are someone would order a pizza to someone else's house, wait for it to arrive, ambush it and detach the battery, and then take it apart to steal the ideas.

  • how long the batteries last?

  • elektroniczna pomarancza?!

  • @WacticalTactical

    made my day :D

  • 2011 flying saucer!!?

  • Were the Batteries included?

  • How does it know where the ball is going, weird cool
