  • Well that must have been a pretty long lasting car....

  • @OGxBuLLeTz what you mean :)

  • AWESOME!!!! Nice fireworks show! This is what happens when you DONT use a cutout relay for the fuel and nitrous. When the oil pressure goes away, the fuel gets shut off. Maybe next time he will learn?

Car looked like a piece of shit anyways........

  • @Harleybum well said harleybum :)

  • i thought they have a fire engine on standby at the startline for the FIA groups and the pickup tender at the finish line, hanheld extinguishers are a bit lightweight even for a simple street car fire

  • You guys are harsh. Looks like a very good and quick response from the safety crew. Most tracks in the rest of the world are nowhere near that well equipped and efficient. An average dragstrip would have a few handheld fire bottles and guys in Tshirts operating them. Only the largest events get a crew like shown.

  • top of the notch fire fighting equipment. The pickup with the shower hose is best!

  • R.I.P. Chevy.

  • I was there, if you look very carefully u can see me holding a can of beer wearing a black hoodie.

At first i thought there was something wrong because he took a while to get out. I feel sorry for the engineers though they only get a couple hours to take the engine apart and rebuild it and then after all that it explodes.

  • and it took the fire truck that long to get there after the whole thing was burnt jeeeez

  • well he'd be deved

  • @thepricylon Bad idea, because opening the hood would allow the air to go into the engine (because of the direction the wind is blowing in relation to the car engine, assuming that you lifted the bonnet from the front of the car, not where the wind shield is), where the fire is coming from, the fire needs that air to burn, thus when you open the bonnet, the fire would literately EXPLODE out of control.

  • DAMN THESE GUYS NEED FROM A COURSE OF FIREMAN .......... ASSES

  • Wow thats pretty sad :(

  • I would get the heck outta there cause if a motor, with gas is on fire, it's bound to explode!

  • @whiteknuckles717 I'm sure that i've seen cut off switches inside the drivers area but then again it was a btcc or a gt car that i seen it on and thought maybe they switches inside as well as outside incase the backs on fire but i'll find out next year when i start marshalling at croft.
