@dirf69 depends on the bike and your budget and you

Much easier to ride now after a year. I bought one for my wife (2009) and she loves it. We had to shave some foam off the seat and lowered it with links and now it is much easier for her. It is an all around great bike. 23 litre tank, excellent mileage with 500 kms per tank and has good acceleration on highway if I need to get around slower traffic. I put a higher shield and that helps with the wind resistance which was a bit of a problem before as it sits higher than most bikes.

@jigjag454 --- and after a year of riding, what do you think now?

KLR & Clutch. Great combination.

these bikes are heavy yea, but i love mine, can jump a 4-5feet, can go on trail, and this fat thing hit the 160-170kmh.. whats better, speed, jump, road and trail in same time... never tired and broke rarelly.

@v10redline when my friend crashed he told me " the bike is mine, and I will get off it the way I want to " LOL

Looks like you guys know how to have a good time. I just bought the new 2009 KLR and am still getting used to it. I went riding in a dirt pit with my 15 year old son on the back. Almost dropped it about ten times. Next time I think I'll try it alone.
