It's the same K'mpec. Like it was pointed out, he was VERY old in TNG, and the presence of Kor, Kang and Koloth in DS9 indicate that Klingons are as long lived as Vulcans or at least close to it (Sarek, Spock). And K'mpec doesn't die in the game. Besides, the point behind the battlestation mission conference call was to show that K'mpec had a devious tactical mind, which would serve VERY well in being Chancellor for long enough to get to his age.

@Hyeesa Well chancellor K'mpec was a very old klingon when we first see him in 2360's during TNG episode Sins of the Father. If Kor, Kang and Koloff (all well over 100) can be alive during DS9 era which was in 2370s i don't see why K'mpec can't be alive at the time. I didn't know that K'mpec died during the game i was just making an assumption since its the same name and he was fat like chancellor K'mpec was said to be in his youth.

@hamanu666 That would be a serious continuity error, considering that he dies during this game. AND the time difference.
That one from TNG was maybe his son or grandson, if related at all.

The fat klingon is playing Kmpec future chancellor of the high council. he was in TNG episode where Worf found out it was Durass' father, and not his that was the traitor . A female witness remarked that kmpec was still fat so this fits in with continuity, assuming that this is the same kmpec which i believe it is.

@NosferatuD of course he had to be fat, remember kahlest's words ;)
-
I agree. He was probably the head developer or producer... or CEO of 14degrees East or some other company involved...

Of course they had to find the fattest, clumsiest, tamest and overall least convincing looking actor to play a Klingon warrior in a game that is supposed to place him in the company of what is supposed to be the creme-de-la-creme of Klingon warriors.
I love how Chang says "diplomacy" with such disgust :) classic gaming. Wish I could play this again.
