My cockatoo used to pretend to get her foot stuck in the cage every day.. she did a little bit once (just caught her ring in an awkward position) and I panicked and freed her then suddenly she did it every day.. I soon sussed it out and didnt free her and she took her foot out and never done it again, they are too clever!
